2 weeks ago we went to Austin and San Antonio on a trip where we learned about our state history. We learned about 3 kinds of people: pioneers, peacemakers, and revolutionaries. I will tell you about some of these heroes who where 1 or 2 or all of these kinds of people. First there was Cabaza de vaca who discovered this land in 1528 Cabaza when from present day Tampa Bay Florida to modern day Texas. While he was here he met Indians who told him of an ancient city of gold. Cabeza sent out of his ship mates Estaban (the first African American in America) to search for the city of gold but he never came back. His discovery made people want Spaniards to come to Texas like the king of Spain. In 1720 the king of Spain made a settlement in present day San Antonio the earliest mission San Jose. Back then San Antonio was called Saint Anthony. The mission was built for Indians to come and start a new life but there were a few consequences. The consequences were: Having to change your name, learning to speak Spanish and Latin, changing your religion to Catholic, and Doing whatever job the king tells you to do for generations to come. Then there was Stephen F. and Moses
Austin who had 4 different types of people to come to Texas. The 4 types of people are the Tjanos, the Anglo Americans, Europeans, and Spaniards. Moses Austin started the whole thing when he went to Mexico to ask the Mexicans if he could bring 300 settlers to Texas. Moses failed because he died but his son Stephen F. Austin. He did bring 300 settlers to Texas and called them the old 300 and one of those people was Jane long. After that other settlers came and the Mexicans didn’t like it with their new president Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna so they made terrible rules like changing their religion. Stephen F. Austin went to Mexico to try to reason with the Mexicans but they threw him in jail for 5 years but his last letter said to start war with the Mexicans and that is where the great Texas revolution began. Some of the heroes were William B. Travis, Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett, James Fannin, and Juan Seguin. The first battle was the battle of Gonzales. The first big battle was the Siege of Baruna where we faces General Cose’s army and defeated them even thaw we were outnumbered by 300 soldiers. The next big battle was one of the most important in the History of the United States the Battle of the Alamo where every soldier died who fought but it was so famous because they knew that they were going to die but they fought for liberty for all and for us, Remember The Alamo! The war ended when the last battle the Battle of San Jacinto was fought when Sam Houston’s army surprised Santa Anna’s army and defeated them with only 9 of our soldiers killed. That is how we got our freedom and you can understand what people want to make this state free. We have learned throughout the year and we have all learned a lesson, that life is a mountain and that there are boulders and easy ways but through all life is a journey with challenges and easy ways to go but the life is a journey.

The Stars game
The stars game Whoosh, slam, and click, all the sounds of a hockey game can be heard all around. On Monday night I was at the stars game vs. the Minnesota Wilds. That night I was in a suite with my family. All through the game I heard the crowd howling like wolfs and the big black speakers on the sides of the scoreboard sounded like bombs. Twice in the game there was a fight. First player vs. player and the n player vs. goalie, it looked like those dust clouds you see in shows when people fight. Slick, Whoo, the crowd goes crazy as the stars score. The game ended up 4-3 in a close game, but the stars won.
Christmas Day
Our family has special traditions on Christmas day starting the off with the family seeing the presents that Santa Claus( Chris Cringle) brought to us for Christmas day. Santa Claus always brings magnificent toys for Christmas. Santa Claus is a bright jolly man who has checks as red as 2 shiny apples. Every Christmas we wait for the whole family to arrive before we see what Santa brought us. Waiting in my room is the hardest part of the year. I feel like a lion waiting to strike its prey at aimed sight. Then after everyone is here we open some gifts wrapped in paper in all shades and colors of Christmas. Some are shiny some are bright; some are glorious in the light. We love to see what each another got for Christmas. After we have opened some of our presents we take a break for breakfast. The sizzling and broiling of the food including: pigs in a blanket, bacon, sweet rolls, and hash browns. Then we go back to opening presents. The presents are all shapes and sizes and fill the room like a mountain touching the sky. Later that night after dinner it is a tradition that we watch my mom’s and aunt’s favorite Christmas movie White Christmas every Christmas night.

I am thankful for my my friends. My friends (just like family) support each other like a bee hive collecting honey for each other. My friends even in the future will help and stay in contact and be better friends than before. Allot of times friends start and school and every year they get better and better than ever. Friends are always for each other for example when a friend is down they try to cheer him up.friends also have love for each other (friend love).Friends are for me and you and they are as good as a family or as god.

I am thankful for the laws that help keep the world secure.Laws are mostly on the declaration of independence made right after the revolutionary war. It contains most of the laws in the state and country. The golden rules are rules that were made before the dawn of time. For the good the laws or rules shine on them like heaven’s light, and for the evil shall perish by making their spine crawl from the rules or laws.Mostly if we didn’t have laws the earth would be in trouble or be destroyed in about 10 years from this very moment because people would pollute the earth.
universes combined
I am making a spectacular video game called universes combined! I want to make this game because I enjoy playing so many different video games but I don’t get to play as most of the characters featured in the game. It makes my spine crawl because I can’t play as those characters. I want to make characters that are mostly heroes and villains. I want to show people the super hero spectacular way of life. In this game you can chose from all kinds of universes including: The marvelous Marvel, The deathsurfing DC universes, The miraculous mario, the spectacular Sonic, The special spyro, and the crashing crash,each kind or universe holds about or over 67 charecters(both superhero and villans). First I am making a summary paragraph of what the players would love to hear about the amazing new chapter in the superheros life.
my aquarium field trip
My three favorite living organisams were the Goliath bird eating spider, the jaugar, and the manatee. Although there were a lot of living organisams that I loved I chose these animals because they were interesting in all different ways. I chose the goliath eating spider because he was huge. I chose the jaugar because she was slow and majestic like a panther stalking its prey. I liked the manatee because he was like a gary submarine I had never seen before. I liked that all the animals had somehting special about them. I also learned that the Three-toed sloth sleeps 15-19 hours a days and is awake 5-10 hours a day. My favorite part was that I got to see a lot of differient types of organisams in their own natural habitat and that I sawsome endangred animals too. I observed the tree kangaroo and I learned that the tree kangaroo was not a jumping kangaroo but a climbing kangaroo.He also had a chubby pink nose and slanted eyes and a oval shaped brown furry body. It seemed that he was hiding from us in the tree and I thought that he thought we were going to harm him. He looks like a baby bear than a kangaroo.
